I often wish I could plant my best FPV set up on just about every RC I can get my hands on. However, I still need to find some sort of cage set up similar to what you find on micro multi-rotors to protect the camera, and so for now I can only mount it on what I know will remain stable. A long running project of mine involves using such a set up on a multitude of vehicles such as planes and trucks. One of the more significant projects in the works is an FPV tank simulation to compliment the FPV warbird simulations, which has some peculiar integration into other projects that you should find interesting.
On another note, there are a number of fantastic artists that have made or are in the process of making submissions for the site, not to mention an awesome tour of yet another amazing museum that is coming soon. Lot’s of great stuff in the near future to enjoy.
Back to the tank project, in an effort to calibrate the game plan for the simulation, I’ve done some extensive research (otherwise known as browsing YouTube) into the direction I want to go. While I will share this blog so that we have some content this week for the F4C forums, it really is more for gathering my own thoughts on where to go from here.
