The Last of the Blogi

You can ignore the silly title, but this probably will be the last blog.  So we’re going to transition from blogging to article format, at least to the best of our ability.  Blogs are more personal about Fun4Change projects, and we’re getting to the point where we’ll have to make numerous announcements which aren’t really suited well for a more personal forum.

If you are already a member of one of the Fun4Change communities, then you probably already know about our strict no religion, no contention, and no politics rule, even on forums where we discuss war machinery.  It is very rare that we’ve had to ban people from our communities, but it does happen.

This same sentiment will carry over to the way our articles are presented, and how we expect any author that would write for Fun4Change would conduct themselves in their presentations.  We are not ignoring the problems the world has to deal with, but we didn’t create this as a place to sort them out either. Our focus is the pleasures we can get out of life. That’s not to discourage you from being politically active in your community, you probably should.  You just won’t find much in the way of insight here on how to make those tough decisions. This is a place for escapism, which is difficult to enjoy under stress.

At a glance, Fun4Change looks like a men’s magazine, but we do have a sizable female audience as well, and as such we should probably accommodate that. Yeah, for the most part we’re just a bunch of guys, but you’ll probably be pleased to know that the brilliant, beautiful, and respected community leader that has funded Fun4Change up until this point, does have a taste for fashion, and she is quite good at it in fact. So there is always a woman’s touch, and you’ll probably see more female oriented content available here as well at some point.

Yet this won’t be a formal news source. Formal news often isn’t pleasant. Our articles will present to you a new option for entertainment, a new way to have fun or learn something new.  It’s not meant to encourage you to ignore the problems we face in this day and age, it’s just meant to be a place you can escape from the ugly side of the world, if only for at least a little while.  It’s not real news, and it’s not fake news either… it’s just good news.

That, I think, we can all agree on being something we like to hear.
