We have a game development study group with over three thousand members strong. If you’re looking to get started making your own video game, the best way to get started is to join up and start asking the community questions.

WARNING: Be cautious of joining independent development projects.  If they are not led well, they can easily fall apart and a lot of hard work can wind up being for nothing.  If you have a particular strength that you can bring to a team that obviously knows what they are doing, then that may be a good opportunity to take advantage of.  Fun4Change offers no guarantee of employment through Game Developer Progress, and it is not a job placement program.
